Trees standing patiently waiting to be drawn. People in situations creatively imagined. Works varying in style; in oils, acrylics, collage and recently cut cardboard.
Giglia attended Leith Art School Edinburgh and countless evening classes and has sold widely in Scotland and England, including the Edinburgh Royal Academy. There will be a selection of paintings on display, some from private collections as well as many paintings available to buy.
Alongside Giglia’s paintings Ray Maw will be displaying a selection of pots designed and created in earlier years which are on loan from private collections. New style pots will also be displayed and will be available to purchase throughout the exhibition.

Ten years ago a handful of artists and craftspeople got together to present a mixed media show at the Fishing Quarter Gallery, Brighton Seafront calling themselves the Sussex Arts Collective. Ten years later the Collective are proud to celebrate their 10th anniversary this Artwave at the HOP Gallery; a venue they have had a long and happy association with.
