Based upon the primordial and baser aspects of human nature (especially in view ofour colonial past). In this exhibition Ed Allan presents a series of paintings and drawings on paper and wood in various media with 3D dioramas on a smaller scale, from steaming tropics and lonely desert plains, to fear of the unknown; from abusive to the banal.

Robert Tavener (1920-2004) is well known for his printmaking but throughout his career he explored also watercolour painting and pen and ink drawing, as well as beautiful observational pencil drawings.
